Xiaomo’s story
Xiaomo is a VC-funded biotech startup, which focuses on developing cutting-edge products based on RNA interference (RNAi) technology. RNAi uses small interfering RNA (siRNA) molecules to precisely suppress genes in the cells. RNAi phenomena have won two Nobel Prizes in 2006 and 2024.
Xiaomo possesses a highly efficient and cost-effective siRNA biomanufacturing technology and is developing first-in-class siRNA products, including RNAi medicine and RNA pesticide, to address huge unmet needs in gene therapy and agriculture.
Xiaomo is a proud graduate of Hong Kong’s flagship biotech incubator – Incu-Bio at Hong Kong Science Park.
In 2024, Xiaomo has expanded R&D and manufacturing sites to mainland China in Shanghai and Kunshan.
